Sim & Luisa

Outdoor ceremonies evoke feelings of barmy summer days where nuptials can be held on an exotic beech or some enchanted forest.

Isn’t there just something special about being outside like at this wedding taking place at Lanwades Hall, an award winning wedding venue near Newmarket, Suffolk.

The focus here is on the actual ceremony where I’ve included many more photos than a normal “best of” gallery showcases.

During each and every wedding I strive to produce a similar range of photos in order to visually tell a couples story so when they look back in 10 years time, they see different layers and perspectives.

By this I mean photographing over different focal lengths (wise angle & close ups), different perspectives (behind, front, side) whilst drawing the viewer in by changing the focal point.

This helps create a rich tapestry and an almost 3D quality to the images so that when couples look back in 10 years time they can immerse themselves back to that time and that place.  An image should not just be seen, it should be felt and experienced, that way you can relive your wedding day all over again.

This in my sincere and humble opinion, is the difference between taking a picture and producing art.
